Despite the key interest rate decision: Interest rates stay high
The innovative digital Swiss bank, Alpian, is reaffirming its role as a pioneer of exemplary customer service. Despite the Swiss National Bank's (SNB) recent cut in key interest rates, Alpian is maintaining its attractive interest rate levels. In addition, Alpian has eliminated all account fees.
Geneva, 26 September 2024 – The digital Swiss bank Alpian is reaffirming its commitment to customer-friendly banking and simple wealth building for a broad public. With its consistent focus on the interests of its customers, Alpian has made two key decisions.
Alpian maintains attractive interest rates despite key interest rate cut
Today, the Swiss National Bank lowered the key interest rate to 1%. In contrast to other banks, Alpian continues to offer attractive interest rates. Customers still benefit from 0.75% interest on balances between 0 and 100,000 Swiss francs, and 1% interest on amounts between 100,001 and 1,000,000 Swiss francs. Additionally, Alpian now offers positive interest rates for both EUR (1% up to 500,000 EUR) and USD (1% up to 100,000 USD) Unlike most banks, Alpian credits interest on a monthly basis to support sustainable wealth building and allow clients to see the benefits sooner.
All accounts now fee-free
Since September 1, 2024, Alpian has eliminated all account fees, regardless of balance or volume. This decision was based on feedback from thousands of customers seeking a simpler banking relationship.
With these initiatives, Alpian confirms its commitment to supporting wealth building effectively and without unnecessary costs, solidifying its position as the leading digital Swiss bank.
